This qualification, gained on job, is an introduction to modern piggery practices. Ideal for people who are new to the industry or those that have been in the industry for some time and want a formal qualification. It covers the knowledge and skills relating to pig welfare, husbandry, biosecurity, handling and health and safety. This course is 100 % subsidised by Agriculture ITO and the pork industry.
